INSTALLATION GUIDE
RECCOMENDED TOOLS:
WASH YOUR VEHICLE THE DAY BEFORE TO ALLOW COMPLETE DRYING. (MAKE SURE TO NOT USE ANY WAX, SEALANTS OR POLISH)
MAKE SURE TO CLEAN YOUR WORK SPACE PRIOR TO INSTALLATION. MAKE SURE YOUR WORKSPACE IS FREE FROM DUST & DEBRIS AS VINYL HAS A STATIC CHARGE THAT ATTRACTS CONTAMINANTS.
REMOVE PARTS SUCH AS DOOR HANDLES, BADGES, LIGHTS, ANTENNAS OR ANY OTHER PART THAT IS IN THE WAY OR NEEDS WRAPPING SEPERATLY.
CLEAN FIRST WITH WAX & GREASE REMOVER TO ENSURE NO WAX, POLISH, SEALANTS OR TAR ARE ON THE SURFACE (TIP: YOU CAN CHECK YOU CAN CHECK FOR WAX OR POLISH BY RUBBING YOUR FINGER IN A FORWARD MOTION - IF IT SQUEAKS ITS GOOD TO GO!
CLEAN WITH ISOPROPYL ALCOHOL ENSURE ALL DIRT AND GRIME IS REMOVED FROM THE SURFACE. (MAKE SURE TO CLEAN EDGES AND CORNERS - USE A SQUEEGEE WITH A TOWEL WRAPPED AROUND FOR HARD TO REACH PLACES OR SEALS.)
STEP 1: PREP
ALIGN THE FILM OR LIVERY IN THE DESIGNATED AREA WITH MASKING TAPE OR MAGNETS TO HOLD IT ONTO THE CAR. ENSURE THAT THERE IS FULL COVERAGE OF THE INTENDED AREAS. TRIPLE CHECK BEFORE HEADING TO THE NEXT STEP.
HINGE THE VINYL THIS ALLOWS YOU TO APPLY THE VINYL ONE SIDE AT A TIME TO HELP ENSURE CORRECT ALIGNMENT WHILST INSTALLING. you can also float the vinyl on if you have a hand or two.
FOLD BACK & EXPOSE THE VINYL THEN TACK THE VINYL AT 180 DEGREES WITH A MAGNET OR MASKING TAPE SO THAT YOU CAN CUT AWAY THE BACKING PAPER.
HOLD THE VINYL TAUGHT AND SMOOTH AWAY FROM THE SURFACE ENSURE THAT THE WHOLE SHEET IS CONSISTANTLY 15-45 DEGREES FROM THE SURFACE THIS WILL HELP ENSURE ALIGNMENT.
HOLD YOUR SQUEEGEE AT A 15-45 OR 170-145 DEGREE ANGLE FROM THE SURFACE. SQUEEGEE HORIZONTALLY FROM THE CENTRE TO THE EDGES. ENSURE THAT YOU ARE USING FIRM PRESSURE AND 50% OVERLAP IN STROKES TO ENSURE NO BUBBLES OR CREASES.
STEP 2: APPLICATION
PAY ATTENTION TO BODY LINES AND CURVES. MAKE SURE YOU FEED THE VINYL OVER OR INTO THE BODY LINES PAY CLOSE ATTENTION PRE PLAN YOUR SQUEEGEE STROKES.
STEP 3: POST CHECK & HEAT
REMOVE THE TRANSFER TAPE IF APPLICABLE. BE CAREFUL THAT YOU DO NOT PULL UP AND TEAR THE VINYL PULL THE TRANSFER TAPE AS CLOSE AS 18O DEGREES FROM THE SURFACE AS YOU CAN.
TRIM EDGES & SLOWLY TUCK THE VINYL AROUND THE BODY GAPS AND EDGES USING A LITTLE HEAT FROM A HEAT GUN WILL HELP WITH THE TUCKING PROCESS.

USE A TACK RAG PRIOR TO APPLICation this will help ensure no dust or debris gets under the vinyl.
CHECK THE VINYL FOR BUBBLES OR CREASES AND REMOVE THEM be careful not to remove them to quickly as you may create creases. use a pin prick tool, needle or knife to prick the vinyl if the air bubble is large or stubborn.
heat up the vinyl using a heat gun in small areas in a back and forth motion (keep the hetgun moving) watch out for bubbles and creases that my appear and remove them.
ensure the vinyl gets to a rough temperature of 95 degrees or over to ensure full adhesion.
wipe down each panel with a clean rag and a surface cleaner or wax checking as you wipe there are no issues with the vinyl.
avoid washing the car or exposing it to water for the first 4 days.
after care:
When pressure washing, maintain at least 1 metre distance to avoid lifting film edges.
AFTER CARE!!!
Use PH neutral car care products.
Remove bug splatter, bird droppings OR RUBBER immediately to prevent acid damage.
Avoid polishes with abrasives and products with petroleum or solvents on the film.
